We took all of our gear - mask, snorkel and fins - when we hiked the trail last month. The water was really calm when we were there, but there wasn't much to see underwater. We probably won't bring it all next time.

We also had a copy of "St. John - Off The Beaten Track." This had a wealth of information about the Reef Bay hike!

Hey Minde - Henley Cay is one of the deserted islands off of the tip of Caneel. We sailed, but can also get there by kayak or dinghy. There are a couple of mooring balls if you don't want to beach your boat. I think Henley was an old fishing camp at some point but now it's just a nice spot for a pic...

We've been on STJ since last Tuesday 4/12. Accuweather forecasted either rain or showers every day but we've been able to dodge most of it. That's actually been part of the fun!
