Take the ferry to Virgin Gorda. You don't get "all day," but you do get longer than a stop on a day sail.

We love St. John because of its laid back atmosphere and because the hardest decision each day is which beach to go to!

Hey Pat,

Do you know if Pam has a website for her pottery? Which beach at the Jersey Shore was the art show? We usually hit the Spring Block Party in Ocean City and there was pottery there last year that reminded us of SJU. Wonder if it's the same person. Thanks for the email!

Nannerz, We just did a day trip to VG from STJ on Sunday, July 6th. We really enjoyed it! The Baths and Devil's Bay were beautiful! We got in line for the INTER-ISLAND BOAT SERVICES ferry a little before 8:00 AM - which was a good thing. The ferry wasn't scheduled to leave until 8:30, but for some r...

mcpenguin5, We just did this hike for the second time on July 3rd. I made reservations for our group of 6 in mid-May by calling 340-776-6201 x238. The cost was $21 per person which includes your taxi to the trailhead and boat ride back to Cruz Bay. You don't pay until the morning of the hike which l...

STJ to VG, BVI ferry

I'm trying to contact Inter-Island Boat Service (340-776-6597) to find out if their St. John to Virgin Gorda ferry will be running on Sunday, July 6th. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with them. Several on the boad said to check ahead of time to make sure this ferry is running the day you wa...

Great photos and a nice recap of your trip in your TR. How was the road to Sago Palms? We looked at that villa for our next trip, but someone else said the road got very old after a few times.

Enjoying your TR so far, Thanks!

We did not get to visit Trunk on our last trip, but are planning to this time. What's special about setting up near the rocks on the beach?

Thanks!

Olympus SW users - seals/gasket question

To all of you Olympus SW users - do you lubricate the seals/gaskets with anything like you're supposed to do with more expensive underwater housings?

Thanks!

We're coming down at the end of June - after the first bag fee starts. I just checked AA's site and it looks like we will not have to pay the fee this trip since I purchased our tickets last October. Maybe this will apply to some of you too. "The following customers will not be charged a servic...

We purchased ours at isnorkel.com - http://www.isnorkel.com/category-exec/category_id/200/nm/Rashguards-sun-shirts . They have both tight and loose fighting ones. Make sure you get the ones with UPF 50 - for they do also have ones with only UPF 15. Our order was shipped very quickly. Very pleased wi...

I called Olympus and they confirmed that the 720 SW does in fact reset the scene modes to the camera settings when powered down. They also said that all of their Stylus cameras are this way. So, as a work around, if there is a scene mode you use frequently - like an underwater mode while snorkeling ...
