We did see our pictures on Facebook when we got back home Sunday night. Our's was titled "Rylan's Wild Ride" I believe. Rylan is our son and he had a very fun day. I really hope Shane and Andi do well with Born to Rhumb, they are the type of people that you spend a day with and seem like y...

Trip Report- 6/18 - 6/25- Days Five through Eight

Day Five- We again had breakfast at the villa and decided to try Cinnamon Bay for the day. Like all of the North Shore beaches we have visited it was very nice. We stayed for about 5 hours and headed back for the little guy to nap. For dinner we went to The Lime Inn for all you can eat shrimp. My wi...

I believe that the ladies enjoyed there massages. I know that my mom said she didn't feel like moving the rest of the day and she barely did. The ladies from Paradise Massage came in moved the furniture in our living room and set up the massage tables. I thought it would be an excellent way for the ...

Cocotier was very nice. The driveway was pretty steep, the front dragged every time we went in and out. I would definitely recommend 4-wheel drive. We had a blast having our son with us. He traveled and behaved perfectly the entire time. We were truly blessed. His only probably was that there was no...

Trip Report- 6/18 - 6/25 Day One through Four

Back at work after a wonderful vacation. Traveling were my mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, wife, our son (2.5 years old), and myself. Day One- We had driven to Charlotte the previous night for our 8:15 flight to Atlanta. Things went smoothly and after what seemed to be a very "quick" two...

Churches

After months and months of planning, we will be arriving on Saturday. I would like to attend a church service on Sunday morning. We will be staying at Cocotier. I have attended a Church of the Brethren my entire life and I would probably best describe it as a conservative Baptist denomination for th...

Villas

I am still trying to find a villa for our trip June 18th-25th. My sister still has not been able to confirm here vacation from work for these dates, so now our top 3 choices are all booked for that week. Anyway, I have looked at Cocotier, La Papaya, and Villa Colorado as options. We would like to st...

Villa Choices

I am still trying to decide which villa for our group of 7 next June. I have 8 places that I have researched and seem to fit our needs/wants. The group will be my mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, wife, our son (will be 2 years old 12/30), and myself. Any advice on places that I should definitely de...

Looking forward to your trip report. I am considering Blue Agave for our trip in June. It will be 7 of us, including our 2.5 year old son. Any pros/cons at Blue Agave for a toddler? Thanks for any advice. God bless.

Thanks for all of the advice/suggestions. Probably our main concern with choosing a villa is how kid friendly it is. We don't want to spend the entire week on pins and needles worrying about the little one. Obviously with a 2 year old accidents happen sometimes, but we would like to limit the number...

Choices

I think I have narrowed it down to three villas for our trip next June: Blue Agave, Soul Island, and Aurora. Looking for a kid friendly (our son will be 2 in December), with a pool and A/C villa that is fairly close to Cruz Bay and the North Shore beaches. Also has anyone gone on a day trip with Bor...

When my wife and I were on St. John a few years ago as we were walking to dinner at ZoZo's we saw a guy walking a pig on a leash. That was a new one for us and something we will never forget. And no neither my wife or myself drink!! :D

Soul Island vs. Blue Agave

I think I have it narrowed down to these 2 villas for next June. Does anyone have experience with either? Any suggestion, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. One other thing, for those of you that travel regularly when is the best time to book airfare? I am thinking for a June trip, somewh...
