What rental house is this near?
Just curious if this was a rental house that the apt was at and if so which one...and also what area/other rental houses were in that area. Wondering too if it was a robbery gone wrong or other circumstances. Hate to hear about this on STJ... :( http://www.stjohntradewindsnews.com/index.php/componen...

Re: St John vs Tortola for honeymoon
We have stayed on Tortola a few times in a large group. Hubby and I wouldn't stay there as a couple..It just doesn't feel as safe as some of the other islands. I'm with the others, I would consider VG or Jost... I'm curious about why no one hardly suggests Peter Island? I don't know much about it..s...

Re: Lobster on St. JOhn
Just some additional info for anyone else that may read this thread later..We wanted Lobster on our last visit and it wasn't "lobster night" at Morgan's Mango, but we called then and they serve lobster any other night as well. Same price..only difference was you didn't get complimentary gl...

Re: Waterproof phone cases or other options for snorkeling p
My phone went swimming at Maho last year and it lived to tell about it with no damage. But that was not prolonged snorkeling, etc..I swear by Lifeproof. Have also dropped my phone too many times to count and no damage. I have used a Canon Powershot and bought the Canon housing for it and that has wo...

Locally made jewelry?
Hi all..
I love Caravan, but think a lot of their items come from other parts of the world..Are there any STJ jewelers who make jewelry there on STJ? Would like some local items..

Re: Help with flight choices..
Yeah I think I would rather pay the extra than add a leg to the trip..DFW to MIA to ORD to STT...that's just craziness..Especially with all the family. Unfortunately fares are running like $750+ per person in June so it's probably not gonna happen unless fares drop..

Re: Help with flight choices..
~~~UPDATED: 2nd part of question~~~ Ok...so summer airfare is running what winter used to run..around $800pp instead of $500pp... Can get it down some by adding additional stops which I HATE...I prefer nonstop but that is next to impossible anymore so usually we go from DFW-MIA-STT.....Now we would ...
Help with flight choices..
Have you found it to be cheaper flying weekday to weekday vs weekend to weekend? That is what I am finding right now, and just wondering if that hold true most the time, before I book our villa..Thanks in advance for any info~
