Sheila's Pot is the absolute BEST! And she's a really neat lady. She was located in front of the gazebo as you get off the ferry, but has been displaced because of the construction at the park. I hope she is back by the time I get there! <a href="http://daisypath.com/"><img src="http:...

St. John veterans, what's on your bucket list?

OK. No Beach Bar, no Trunk Bay. For those of you who make the yearly pilgrimage (or more) to "The Rock," what are some things you still want to try but haven't yet? My top 5...OK, top 6: 1. Have some garlic chicken and conch fritters at Vie's. Been trying for 10 years and I can never seem ...

I fly from KC. Delta has the best itineraries right now. You can find tickets around $600 if you catch them on the right day. Flight leaves at 5:50 am but you are on STT by 1:50 pm. Earliest arrival time of any I have ever found. USAir used to have really good itineraries, but their weekend flights ...

There will be plenty of cars available and you won't have any problems finding parking in September. <a href="http://daisypath.com/"><img src="http://dvcf.daisypath.com/iTnPm5.png" width="400" height="80" border="0" alt="Daisypath Vacation ticke...

Never been to the crowning of the queen, but I'm sure locals are welcome. There is music downtown across from the post office every night. It's a good time. DO go to the parade, but DON'T expect it to start on time. And it takes half the afternoon. The best vantage point is Quiet Mon pub next to Woo...

Also, if you wait until last minute, you will find the best deal on lodging. There will be availability anywhere you want to stay. You can save at least 20 percent - probably more. <a href="http://daisypath.com/"><img src="http://dvcf.daisypath.com/iTnPm5.png" width="400&quo...

I was there in September last year. A lot of the restaurants are closed but most of the shops seemed to be open. There were far fewer tourists and even locals than other times I have been. A lot of the locals go stateside for vacation in September. I went to church in Coral Bay a few weekends and th...

St. John Car Rental

I was checking rates on rental cars (7 passenger) and St. John Car Rental is about $100 more than everyone else. Is there a reason they are so high? <a href="http://daisypath.com/"><img src="http://dvcf.daisypath.com/iTnPm5.png" width="400" height="80" border=...

There are lots in Cruz Bay. Some of the more popular ones are The Beach Bar, Woody's, Castaway's, and High Tide. There are several others, too, just depends on what you're looking for. In Coral Bay you pretty much have Island Blues, Skinny Legs, Aqua Bistro, Cases by the Sea and Shipwreck Landing. N...

I second Miss Lucy's. Cool little local spot right on the beach. Concordia's restaurant is only open during high season. I think they might be closed now and won't open back up until December. <a href="http://daisypath.com/"><img src="http://dvcf.daisypath.com/iTnPm5.png" width=&...

Pia is right. A friend of mine works at Connections. Sometimes they get a percentage of the trip cost from the operator, but the price is always the same whether you book through Pia, Connections or most others. <a href="http://daisypath.com/"><img src="http://dvcf.daisypath.com/iTnPm...
