Reef Bay Trail

Can anyone confirm that the guided Reef Bay Trail hikes have not resumed? Anyone know when/if they may start up again?

Re: Grand Cayman Recommendations for a St. John Lover?

Thanks! I am a diver so I plan on doing about three days of diving but I was hoping for some opportunities for my husband who isn't. I'll check with them and see what kind of snorkel trips they have. Thanks!

Grand Cayman Recommendations for a St. John Lover?

Our next St. John trip isn't planned until the end of next year. :( But we are going to Grand Cayman in September. We are staying on the East side. As someone who loves St. John, I'm not so sure about this trip. Looking for some shore snorkeling and beaches we can relax at. Any recommendations on wh...

Re: Headed to St John today....

Sorry about your filet. I'm making a note of this as I'll be traveling with frozen meat. I have Global Entry which includes TSAPre but I'm not risking losing the $100 worth of meat I'm bringing for the week.

Re: Dry storage for valuables

I use a bag called an AquaPac, I bought it about 10 years ago but it's similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/Aquapac-Waterproof-Large-Camera-448/dp/B0044LXIYG/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1477652675&sr=8-19&keywords=aquapac&refinements=p_89%3AAquapac It floats behind you as you snor...

Re: Answers???

One thing I'd also recommend to maximize my time is to check out the cruise ship schedule at: http://ports.cruisett.com/schedule/US_Virgin_Islands/620-Saint_Thomas/December_2016/ I try to go to Honeymoon or Trunk on days when no ships are in port. This will save a bit of time on island so you don't ...

Re: Medical Oxygen

Thanks, that's the one the doctor is prescribing. I'm glad I looked at this early enough. Apparently each airline has its own form you have to fill out so that you're allowed to bring the POC on the plane. Doctor has to sign it and whether you need it during the whole flight or periodically. They al...

Re: Medical Oxygen

I just found that out yesterday. We are going to look into seeing if we can rent a portable oxygen concentrator for the week that we are down there. We have an oxygen concentrator in the house but it is definitely not portable. He's not on it 24/7 but given the humidity in St. John, he'll definitely...
