That's true. Emerald Isle is nice. I spend a week there every summer. But I think it's a tad more crowded than some other places in the outer banks like Duck or Corolla.

Definitely Outer Banks. I've been all over, having grown up along the coast. Ocracoke is the STJ of the Outer Banks....without the gorgeous water. But please don't go there. I'd like to keep it non-crowded

If you did head west in NC, Lake Lure is gorgeous. You could find a neat house on the lake, and there's so much to explore in that area. Asheville is close by as well.

I love Salomon. I was at Honeymoon on Monday and saw a massive eagle ray with a tail about 8 feet long. It was the COOLEST thing I had ever seen in my life! I am so sad to be back home
