Re: Group turned to 4 couples! VILLA HELP PLEASE!
We have stayed at Great Turtle Villa and loved it. We are heading back in 2016 and staying there again. Four equal bedrooms and a great view of Coral Bay.

Oleander Villa
Looking at Oleander Villa as a possibility, wondering if the loft bedroom is private enough. Any other advice on the villa would be appreciated.
Also, have stayed on Coral Bay side and enjoyed that area, what is this area like?
Thanks all.

Re: What to do about airfare
I am also from West Michigan and have been looking at flights. The cheapest alternative I have found is to fly Southwest Airlines to San Juan, stay overnight in San Juan and fly Seaborne to St Thomas. We flew Southwest to San Juan last year when we went to Virgin Gorda and it worked great. The fligh...

Villa for 8
We had a group of 8 last May and stayed at the Great Turtle Villa. It had 4 equal bedrooms with bathrooms for each. The view of Coral Bay was great and the pictures on the website depict the villa accurately.

3 bedroom villa
We stayed at Great Turtle Villa overlooking Coral Bay, I know no sunsets. The sunrises were pretty nice. I thought it was reasonably priced and has three equal bedrooms.

One Bedroom Cottage
Thanks for the suggestions, now it gets tough. Which one to choose and getting reasonable airfare.
It's great to have a forum like this, it was extrememly helpful when we made a virgin trip to STJ last year.
Thanks to all for the suggestions.

One Bedroom Cottage
Beginning the search for a one bedroom with a pool for next May. Would like to keep it under $1700/week. I know I'm asking a lot.
Any suggestions? Stayed at Great Turtle this year in May with family and had a great time. Others can't make it this year so the wife and I are on our own next year.

Car Rental
I would rent on St. John after our experience in May. Our group of 8 went snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay and when we got back one of the vehicles would not start. We also had no cell phone reception in that area. Luckily the National Park Ranger happened to be passing by and attempted to jump start th...

We did a charter similar to your 2009 trip in May of this year. Our fuel cost was $153.

Breakfast in Coral Bay on Mother's Day
We will be in Coral Bay on Mother's Day and we were planning on having breakfast at The Donkey Diner. However, I notice on their website that they will be closed that day.
As a newbie can anyone recommend a good breakfast place in Coral Bay?
Thanks

Dinghy Rental
Any input on dinghy rental would be great (pro or con). It looks like it would be fun and you could get to place you can't get by jeep.
