Re: Experiences with spirit air

I guess we can count ourselves in the minority by using Spirit twice. Made all connections each way but agree that it is the last choice. There are 3 of us so if Delta is outrageously high we may try our luck again. Didn't like their Fort Lauderdale wing or their third world like departure room in S...

Re: not too bulky snorkel vest/flotation option?

We began using a swim belt when our little one was 7 and he liked it much better than the vests. A plus is that it keeps their butts up near the surface so they can't put their feet down and damage anyting. Nothing more than a 3 pieces of dense styrofoam on a rope.

Fair warning: DO NOT attempt to hold your breath while driving by the swamp. The last time I tried to not breathe in a smell I found myself coming to in the floor of a porta-potty.

True story.

According to: http://www.americanparadise.com/stjrealfact.html So on a 1M residence where 500K building/500K lot you'd be looking at annual costs of: property taxes: ~7500 insurance: ~ 12,500 Can't comment on WAPA bills, would guess 1K a month at least if running AC. My understanding is the rental m...

We used one when our tot was 3. It held his interest for only a few minutes and he enjoyed looking around up top more. One problem is that you are in the water nice and cool but babe is on top of a raft baking like a potato wrapped in Al foil. At 4 he just used goggles and would hold his breath whil...

Looks like you are a CHP perhaps? If so, how about throwing up some pictures of radiation burns like those received at the Fukushima nuclear plant by the plant engineers yesterday. I know the circumstances in which they were received are probably totally unknown but there are numerous cases of indus...

Anyone who opposes coal, oil, and/or natural gas, should not take hot showers, heat their house, or drive a vehicle. Wind farms ain't gonna cut it. Hypocritical otherwise. Just to think, it was only a few short years ago that the science community thought that humans did NOT interbreed with neander...

I've often found that those against windmills are strong backers of coal. Funny how that works.

I found that wearing dive gloves while snorkeling in the winter really helped, especially if you like to spend a lot of time in the water.

I recently saw one along the left hand side of Great Lamesure. It was small but not afraid at all. Could have easily caught it if I had a little net. Tried to smash it against the rocks but it can move quickly if needed.

It's all true, tickle away.

And if only to be so lucky, you may never be in possession of more than 2 days worth of haul at any one time. For me, I've not found that to be a problem :x

I don't quite understand the replys about the back of a 4D Wrangler being small. It is larger than that of a Tahoe if the 3rd row is in. And seats folding? Perhaps there was once a different version but beginning around 2008 a new model was introduced called the Wrangler Unlimited with 4 doors plus ...

I own a 4D Wrangler and it has more than enough room for 4 adults plus 4 large suitcases. I would think to get any more room you would have to move up to a full size SUV.
