Zero...thanks for the info. I'll put it to good use. Actually, the BVI is discussing the establishment of a roped-off beach at White Bay, prohibiting boats within 20+ yds of shore. Visitor complaints of activities such as Bad Kitty's and the overall lack of a swimming area on some days at White Bay ...

Bad Kitty - FAIL!!

Enjoying some ball toss in the surf in front of Gertrudes on White Bay when Bad Kitty shows up. With their twin outboards in gear, they backed ever so slowly toward my son intending to intimidate him out of their desired piece of surf for onloading their patrons. The "capt" even reinforced...

Another Great BVI Visit

Despite my son's self-inflicted hand wound on Day 2 (extracting coconut meat...2 stitches, dry-docked 4 days) we had a great time on Tortola. My Daughter (19) and son (15) both loved Tortola, snorkeling, west indian food, airplane views, verticle roads & switchbacks, gin-colored water. She was e...

We have a villa in Little Apple Bay, just down the road from Sugar Mill.

We really like the area. There's a nearly private beach in summer, lots of great eats along the North Shore and loads of fun fairly close.

Hope you get back as soon as you wish.

Wheels-Up

Wheels-Up early Monday. The "plan" is to be at our villa with our Jeep by 4:00PM, but I'll be happy just to be on Tortola sometime Monday.

Kinda funny to be on our way to the BVIs in July to beat the heat!

Arrivals and departures on AA in MIA usually happen in Terminal D, with occasional forays into Terminal E. There's now a train that runs the length of Terminal D so it's not as time-consuming as it used to be going from one end to the other... A train...perfect! Sounds like I might have enough time...

Can anyone tell me which MIA concourse AA uses for domestic arrivals and which they would depart from for STT? We have a 55 min connection and I'd like to get a handle on the challenge. WOW...I was checking out the flightstats.com site that Exit Zero posted and found it all there. Very Cool site! We...

Brush up on your Spanish...last time I was at MIA, nobody spoke English... Reminds me of our return honeymoon flight from Aruba a few hundred years ago. We were connecting in MIA and after we stopped at the gate, we heard "Welcome to the United States" in the thickest hispanic accent poss...

We loved St John Livin. Pool, Hot Tub, stylish, private, great views with easy access. Felt like we were being spoiled.

Actually sits beside Island Dreams above Coral Bay.
