Re: Help picking villa for honeymoon

then again, looking at Jungle stone - screw getting to town! The view there is beyond comparison. You'll spend some time in the car to town and to the beach, but you could spend all day in the pool just looking at the view. wow.

Re: Help picking villa for honeymoon

to echo what some others have said, both look amazing but neither are close to town. The island is small but the car ride from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay is at least 30 minutes, to give you a gauge. Ditleff Point is our absolute favorite place on the island (before they built houses there it was even bet...

We just got back from our 10th annual trip to STJ, always with our kids who are now 6, 4 and 1. this was probably our most enjoyable trip (except for our first one of course, since it was our honeymoon.) We find it best to hit the beach early, like 9am to noon. Then either go out to lunch or eat bac...

I would absolutely NOT cancel. We just returned last week from our 10th trip down, we travel with three kids (6, 4 & 1) and our house this year had more mosquitoes than usual. We had low-test bug spray on the kids but we all still got bitten tons (our 6-yr-old counted 20 nites on her leg.) No de...

don't worry, i think the caribbean will be safe... montserrat is still erupting and its barely 100 miles away. I dont think iceland is going to have much of a climatic effect over 2000 miles away, not to mention the prevailing wind & weather in STJ is from the southeast. I'd be much more concern...

Weather last week was windy/ partly cloudy when the idlanders said it was going to be a washout, the "tropical depression" never amounted to much. then on Thursday the wind shifter to come out of the southwest and it turned calm & HOT. Best day i've ever seen at solomon beach. barely a...

no problem

we have a 6 year old, a 3.5 yr old and a 9-month old, and have been down every year for the past 10 years. The toughest years are when the kids can move (crawl or walk) well but don't understand boundaries like a pool or the ocean. Babies who can't move are def the easiest (10 months might just be l...

My wife and I have always been a fan of the Banana Deck for the night-time ambiance (something about the tree-house feel & the little lights, even though its not fancy at all), andTthe Balcony upstairs in wharfside (its been called so many things over the past 10 yrs.) But the food/service war i...

where is Inn Paradise?

Kathy-
Since you've stayed near Inn Paradise, can you tell me how to get to it? We're just about to pull the trigger on reserving it for next March, but are concerned it's too far "out there." Is it on the centerline rd or do you get there via the south shore rd?

Thanks in advance
