Re: Reef Bay Trail Hike Slideshow

You're so welcome everyone! Since I live on St Thomas, when I'm on hikes with visitors, I can now point out to them plants and critters along the trail thanks to the NPS. Ha, ha! I always try to catalog some of the info in case I'm chosen as a contestant for "Survivor" or I get lost on a C...

Reef Bay Trail Hike Slideshow

For my Labor Day staycation, I did the Reef Bay Trail hike again so I could record it on my favorite app. Here's the link.

Thanks, Anthony. Is there any way of knowing what movies will be playing?

Re: Traffic on site

To satisfy everyone's STJ fix, maybe I'll do a "stayvaca" report on the new concession at Honeymoon. I live on St Thomas, but try to visit St John as much as I can. Stay tuned for my "stayca" report!

Re: Traffic on site

I've noticed it, too, and on other sites. I think more people are using Facebook to post their content for one thing. I also think people have found other things to do on the web like updating their TB page. Sites that rely on user content may need to find other ways to get content.

Re: Whale Watching?

The Environmental Association of St Thomas/ St John offers them annually. Google for their website. I think their whale watching tours are a permanent feature on the site.

Re: Help with picture size

From what I can see the free version of tinypic won't let you upload a photo that's bigger than 1mb. My phone and my cameras all create photos that are bigger than that, because the quality is set for high resolution or "best" quality just in case I decide to print. So if you want to use t...

Bolo.ngo's Wed night Caribbean Buffet and Show is legendary. They may have some of the same performers.

Sugar Bay may also have one on Thur night.

You're welcome. Trust me, it was soooo much fun doing it.

I'm hoping to do Trunk next week and maybe Cinnamon. My goal is to do all the VI beaches. What a chore. :(

Yes, you can eat them, but they're more seed than fruit.

You're welcome Colleen. I use that app in so many ways, but it's made me very annoyed now when someone can't tell me how long a hike is, how big a beach is, or how far away something is!

Maho Bay Slideshow for Your Enjoyment!

I went to Maho, and walked the beach creating this slideshow with my favorite app. Needless to say, it was an absolutely glorious day!

You can rent and get lessons right in Cruz Bay from the new store recently opened by the owner of Big Planet. Forgot the name of the store.

I'm hoping to try it soon!
