My husband and I are staying at Pelican Beach in March 2014 for our 10th anniversary. I'd love to hear from forumites that have stayed there. All the reviews online are really good.

Hawaiian Punch dry drink mix....add to bottled water...throw in some coconut rum...freeze overnight. Take to beach the next day and drink as it thaws. Easy and yummy!

Me too...haven't missed a year seeing KC since '99. We were there for the two Dallas shows (rainstorm and return free show), and those were amazing experiences, but an acoustic show would be the ultimate. I can't imagine what it would be like to have no privacy. I realize that is the price one pays ...

As a HUGE fan of both Kenny and St. John (actually St. John came first in '93 and KC followed as my obsession #2 in '99), I would be in heaven if I bumped into him while there, or heard him playing at Woody's or Quiet Mon. But, I wouldn't stalk him. It's his vacation too.

...and in case anyone is counting...YES, that is 44 hours total driving time!!! I do LOVE him, and it was totally worth it.

I am thrilled that he decided to take a break. Life is definitely too short! His shows are amazing. I saw him open for George in '99, and haven't missed a year yet. I hear he still plans to do a few shows next year, but just not the huge summer tour. Even if I have to travel a long way, I will make ...
