We rented a Jeep Liberty from them last Christmas and it was new, clean and worked well for our family of five. The people at Paris were friendly and very accommodating, especially when we returned the car in a monsoon and they drove us to meet our kids at Mongoose Junction. We were concerned becaus...

It's about 4.5 hours from SYR to JFK..Any chance you'd consider driving to JFK and cutting out the first and last flight legs?

Well, the view is spectacular..better than the pictures on the Caribbean Villa website. At Orchid there were 4 reclining lounge chairs looking out on the amazing view, a nicely weathered dining table with 6 chairs and a glass topped table with 6 chairs in the covered area off the dining room where t...

We stayed at Orchid Villa last December. We are a family of 5, but the kids are adults...17,19,21 at the time. The great room was quite small for all of us at once, and the furniture wasn't very comfortable, but the rest of the place was more than fine. We used the outdoor space, with its incredible...

My sister and her family stayed at Fiddlers Green 2 weeks ago. I hate to say it but she was disappointed. Apparently major construction started next door the day they arrived and continued non-stop throughout their stay. The upstairs "loft" had very low ceilings and was too hot to sleep. T...

I would second Rhumblines...It's all outside and they have the swings at the bar. There were some small children there when we were there and they seemed right at home.

Hi all. My sister and her family are staying at Fiddler's Green next week. I'll try to get her to post a review, and if not, I'll pass on her comments.

Tom, welcome to the forum. Though not a regular poster (not enough experience!), I found these loyal forumites to be the most amazing resouce while we were planning our recent trip to St. John. Even though we returned a week ago, and I finished the epic that was my trip report a couple of days ago, ...

Wow, I had no idea home brewing beer was such a hot topic. The son I referred to in my earlier posts was at Bell's Brewery this past weekend to celebrate a friend's upcoming wedding. They drove from Chicago. This group of college seniors has had a go at brewing in their apartment and have taken some...

Trip Report 12/22-12/29: The End...Boo Hoo!

Well, you know the saying about all good things....this trip was no exception. Much as we would have liked it to go on forever (well M & I did, I think by the end of the week the kids may have had enough of each other and us!!)we had to pack up and say good-bye for now to St. John. Day 8 - The J...
