Now I understand why my package was returned last year! So my address should look like this:

CONNECTIONS
PO BOX 37
6D CRUZ BAY
ST JOHN VI 00831-0037

Is that right?

Great pictures Ken! I may have asked you before - but are you processing those photos (photoshop or otherwise) before you post them? Are you using a polarizer on the 17-40? I have the same lens on my 20D that I'm taking next month - and am hoping to get some shots anywhere near as nice as yours!

Thanks JC! Great advice and info. I assume that you have not had a problem using the 2 week time-frame?

Yes - it may be cheaper, however, carry-on only will save time and effort; two things that make a "vacation" for me!

Thanks Pia! I'm less worried about a charge from them. I just don't want to be too inconsiderate and send them a box they have to store for too long! They advised shipping it addressed to myself at a P.O. Box in St John - does that sound right?

Connections - PIA??

OK - so I am ready to ship my box (snorkel gear, lotions, shampoo, bug spray, flashlight and a couple of towels - for Maho). Connections is telling me to ship 1 week in advance via Priority USPS (from Boston). I arrive 2/10. NOT receiving this stuff in time will cost me $$$, as I will be stuck renti...

What do you ship to STJ in advance?

All - Counting down to takeoff in a few weeks. My family of 6 (4 kids) and I are going to attempt carry-on only for out 2 week escape from New England. I am planning to ship our snorkel gear (pretty extensive for 6 people), bug spray, citronella and sunscreen via USPS to Maho in advance. What do you...

Shipping to Maho Campgrounds

Hi All. We're in the final two month countdown now, and I am trying to (successfully this time) ship our fins/bug spray/lotion beach towels in advance. Last year I messed up and ($50 later) had my box of stuff returned to my office at about the time I got back! This year I plan to ship from MA direc...

Thanks Ladies (and Rick)!

I think that based on the room entrance situation that Latitude may be the better choice on this one. There are only 2 adults - and 4 kids the youngest of which is 7. Anyone out there have a Latitude experience?

Thanks Bug! Sea Forever or Latitude? I think I saw that you were at Sea Forever . . . What was the state of the construction out there? When we were at Vistaero last Feb, it seemed like there was a lot of construction? Also, did the pool area have a clear view or was it semi-obstucted by the trees/p...

We stayed at Vistaero this year - which I am guessing is a pretty similar drive. One "plus" (aside from the amazing views day and night) was that you could easily stop into Starfish (that wine and rum never seemed to go as far as we thought!) on your way back from the beaches. My *only* co...

When I was there in Feb '08, Dohms woudl only pick up in Red Hood. For what it's worth, I'm not sure I woudl go the "private water taxi" route next time. It was very expensive (for a 15 minute boat ride)and my driver did little more than hand us a bottle of water; and get to the dock as fa...

Crystal Cove - STT

I am considering this for my 3 "extra" nights following the villa rental. Has anyone stayed there? Good or bad experiences??
