We were there from the 9th - 23rd. The first week was pretty clear the first week was pretty hazy the second. This was my 3rd trip, but only the second during the summer. I thought visibility above water was much worse than last trip, and visibility underwater was marginally worse.

We were there on tues and I saw one on the left side of little lam. He left pretty quickly, but boy was he a beauty, wish my pic had turned out better! Hope you get to see one, btw did you see the manta? We're here for another week and am still hoping to see him.

I've seen them on both our April/May trip and our August trip. I notice them more at certain beaches than others, specifically Francis and Maho. I personally wouldn't do no AC in August. We were there in August in Catherineburg and I was dying when the power was out overnight with no a/c.
