Nic - I am thrilled to hear the baby news. I know you have wanted a little one for years. I hope you get a good feeling from the birth mother today - I am sure she has picked the perfect couple!!

Please keep us posted.

The Union Station is right downtown. Short walk or cab ride to all the sites down there. I love that hotel.

If you have any questions or want to grab a drink, give me a shout. I love when people come to visit.
Lulu - I sent you a PM....

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. Lulu - I didn't realize you were in Nashville - cool! We are staying at the Wyndham Union Station - is that near the downtown area? I definitely want to try and get in a tour of the Ryman plus visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. I will check on the brunch...

Nashville, TN - in two days

My husband has to be in Nashville for a conference in late March. I am going to join him for the weekend. Would love some recommendations on what to see, where to eat, etc.

Any recommendations for a Sunday brunch?

Thanks.

Thanks for all of your suggestions CG! Looking at the Fairmont and the Westin.

Quick question - If someone mentions "the valley", what area does that consist of?

[quote="California Girl"]Sorry! I don't have any other recommendations. I know how hard it is to find a ballroom that big. If it's any consolation, we had 800 people in the Grand Ballroom for the Employee of the Year banquet (square tables & king's tables). What do you plan to do in th...

CG - Do you have a second choice? It appears that the Fairmont meeting space is not going to be big enough. The ballroom is approx. 12,000 square feet and we like to have approx. 18,000 square feet. This is often times hard to find!

Thanks.

San Francisco Hotels (California Girl?)

I have been asked to search for hotels in SF for an upcoming conference next year. Any recommendations for high end hotels, preferrably with 500 sleeping rooms? I would like to stay away from the touristy hotels with 1000+ rooms. We would also consider two smaller resorts within walking distance of ...

Westin question

For those of you that have stayed at the Westin and used your Starwood points, do you remember how far in advance you had to book your stay? Is it like Delta and you have to call 300+ days in advance to use your SkyMiles? Or can you wait until a couple of months out to book it?

Thanks.

I love the looks of Cocotier and it is on my list for the next trip! You may also want to check out Argonauta - although all the bedrooms are not equal. AC, close to town and great views.
