Flying in tomorrow. What's the deal with this storm?
Weather reports are showing a pretty big storm about 200 miles East of Puerto Rico. They are saying it's packing some heavy t-storms and winds and may have the chance for flash flooding across PR. We are flying into St. Thomas via San Juan tomorrow around noon. Do you on island people think we will ...

Oh, one more question, how is the D40 at taking night pictures, pictures of stars etc? I haven't taken any night photos yet, but I would assume they will be quite good. You will prob need a tripod because to capture quality night photos, the shutter will have to remain open a little bit. Comprehens...

Yup I do. I just went through this... The D40x is a 10 megapixel cam, where the D40 is only 6 mp. The D40x also has a little bit faster continuous shooting than the D40, but prob something you wouldn't notice. Some swear by more megapixels, but unless you are making really really big prints, the exp...

The Nikon D40 is a great DSLR and a great bargain. You can get the body + 18-55 lens on Amazon right now for $480. If you want to add a more powerful zoom, you can get the 55-200 lens w/ vibration reduction for only $100 more (lens usually costs around $225, but there is a $100 off deal). I just got...

Which unit at CV? I was just there in October. Most of the rock crushing is over at Sirenusa(sp?), so the construction noise is not that bad. However, depending on what unit, your view may be primarly of the construction site. The pool at Cruz Views is nice to dip into after a day at the beach, and ...

It looks like Cruz View has a few nights available in March that would fit our schedule. Do you have to be a marathon runner to get back up that hill after dinner and a few drinks. It looks like a nice place. What do you guys think. Well, the walk DOWN to town is easy and takes about 10 minutes. No...
