Bomba's

Hi! We will be able to give you a "review" of Bomba's Full Moon Party in early March. We will be on Tortola during the full moon (& lunar eclipse) on Saturday, March 3rd. We are not of the 20 year old crowd. But, do think that if you happen to be on Tortola during a full moon - you wou...

AARRGGHH!! Friday the 27th won't work for us - as we are heading over to Secret Harbour for Friday & Saturday - and will most likely be catching an early afternoon ferry over to St. Thomas. So, for us, any night beginning Sat the 21st & ending & including Thursday, April 26th would work ...

Maho Bay??

Question for you Maho Bay lovers: Is the one that you love the Maho Bay that is right there on the side of the road?? Or is it the one that you access through Maho Bay Campground (around the corner from Francis?) We haven't stopped or been to either. Fell in love with Francis on our last trip. Need ...

Caneel Beaches

If you have never made it over to Honeymoon Beach - you really should. The walk from the Caneel grounds is very flat & easy (actually, if I remember right - it is either paved or hard packed dirt, anyway). And I think, once you begin the trail, it might only have been about a 10 - 15 minute walk...

Stingray

Oh, Tracy! I meant to tell you how much I really like your Stingray photo that you took at Hawksnest. It is sooo clear! I love the way that the ocean floor has that "rippled" effect & the blue of the water is absolutely gorgeous. Hard to believe it was an underwater shot & not a pa...

Honeymoon & Francis, for us!

But - agree with others - don't know if I want to "share" our favorites. But, this is a good step towards not "being selfish & greedy"!

We are all "family", right??!!??

Got to feel a little sorry for that poor little jilted iguana. Oh what powers us females wield!

"Unprovoked Attacks"

Hi, Tracy! We all seem to have "goggled" and called up the same "lemon shark" articles. Glad we all concur on what kind of shark he is. Last night, I read that part about "10 reported unprovoked attacks" and that number (being not zero) was too high for my comfort level...

Full Moon

Mia, Funny that you sent this post out. Late last night, as I looked out my window at a sugar coating of fresh snow & seeing the full moon's light illuminating the trees - I said to myself, someone is on St. John now - enjoying this glorious full moon in a much different setting. Guess it was yo...
