Re: South Shore- Klein and Rendezvous Bay
As a first time visitor to StJ, I would suggest that you spend as much time on the north shore, NPS beaches as possible. There is a reason that they are so popular :D Access to north shore beaches is for the most part easier, the beaches are most all white sugar fine sand and you will find more shad...

Re: TROUBLE BREWING - Please help
I just received an invite to Linkedin from the same David Redinger. It has been more than 5 years since I have contacted GCG when looking for a villa. I found that they were charging a 5% fee but were not upfront about it so I decided to stay away from them.

Angie, I must respectfully disagree! The waterline is where the island therapy begins for me.augie wrote:Stop signs.

At the end of the road.

I will add my vote to Skinnys being over rated. wanackmamak, in all my trips to France and any foreign destination really, I have not darkened the door of McDonalds so I have not noticed either the numbers or demographics of the clientele there. Did you have to wait in line a long time for service? ...

I am a Van Halen fan,
Now I'm a-seaside sittin'
Just a-smokin' and a-drinkin', I'm ringside
On top of the world
I got a drink in my hand, I got my toes in the sand
All I need, is a beautiful girl
Besides, I like to sink my toes in the sand

Re: Help with flight choices..
Adding more than one stop never dropped the cost from STL. Our lowest fare is almost always STL - MIA - STT.
I have been hoping and praying that since Southwest now has an affiliate that flies into San Juan that we would be able to build a cheaper route, but that just hasn't happened.

Re: Help with flight choices..
I have found that for most destinations it is cheaper to fly between tuesdays and thursdays. Monday and Fridays are busy business travel days and weekends for pleasure travellers. Always check on Sunday and Monday nights after midnight eastern for best seat selections and sometimes best prices. Tick...

4. I agree that it would be best checked inside a larger piece of luggage. Freeze everything to go in it for at least 48 hours. Longer is better. If you can fit it, freeze the cooler also. Pack it tight so as not to leave any air pockets. Do NOT use dry ice. Pack clothes and or towels around the coo...

Re: Possible update on the NO sign
I think a thank you and a well done is in order for Beverly Nicholson, Commissioner of the USVI Tourism Bureau. If indeed she is the force behind getting this sign moved. It is rare these days for a public employee to care, listen and act on something such as this sign. It is good to know that Bever...

I find that Facetime works much better on my iPad than Skype does. If the person they are calling has an apple device, that may be the way to go.

The first one will cost you upwards from $1000. All the rest are $1iowaguy wrote:Completely random question----how much is a beer at Woody's Happy Hour these days?
Actually happy hour beers on StJ are too expensive for me. It requires me to leave the beach while the sun is up.
