My bad. I was under the impression that a shot of vodka had minimal to no calories.

Still though! Ha.

This is almost too simple, but it's delicious, light, and perfect for sunny warm weather: - lots of ice - vodka - Fresca - lime wedge Pour about a shot of vodka (more or less depending on your mood! ) into the ice and fill the rest up with Fresca. Then squeeze the juice from the lime wedge on...

Lovely.

When I'm on St. John I'm up with the sunrise every day. Right when the birds start chirping and you can hear the roosters for miles. It's one of my favorite times of day down there.

A ticker right now would be far too depressing for me.

But at least now I can say 8 months instead of 9. Sigh.

I will live vicariously through you all until then.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom for our honeymoon - Perelandra . Both bedrooms have AC's and their own private bathrooms. There's a pool, a really great 2-tiered deck, and the most amazing view I've ever seen in my life. It's minutes from Cruz Bay, but still extremely private and quiet up in the hills. I b...

We rented Perelandra (gorgeous villa w/ pool, very private, but still close to town) for 5 days this past June. They pushed back at first requesting that we stay a full week, but we were easily able to convince them of the 5 days.

Good luck!

For cost purposes we try to keep it to one big night out for the week we go away, and the rest of the time cook dinner at "home."

Last time it was La Tapa (to die for), and next time it will be Asolare, since those seem to be the 2 most talked-about/recommended.

Great deal Steve S! Just yesterday I booked a flight out of Boston for May 2008... $256 each, round trip with all taxes and fees.

Usually we'd be lucky to pay twice that much! My husband is especially excited for the deal.

Now the trip is REAL!

This guy was hanging out in our dish drying rack and nearly caused me to drop a couple of plates! My quick husband was able to catch him and set him free. http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa21/saskypants/DSCN2347.jpg http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa21/saskypants/DSCN2325.jpg /end first post. ...
