We stayed in one of the Iberostar resorts in 2005. Had a great time. We rented a car for a day trip to Xel-Ha for some snorkeling. We also chartered a trip through the resort which combimed a trip to the Tulum ruins and snorkeling in Akumal Bay. I can not say enough about Akumal. What a lovely place...

Yes, the painkillers were a bit disappointing but the company was fun. Just bought a bottle of Cruzan rum. Nancy B. would you care to share your painkiller recipe? Happy new Year to all!!

To all that gathered at Bahama Breeze. We really had a good time last night. It is so wonderful to put faces with names. I think it is great that a group of people with only one common interest, our love of the Virgin Islands, can get together and have fun together. Of course, the only thing that wo...

Vicki, great TR. I had been looking forward to it since we will be staying at Sunnyledge in May. Didn't know they had a resident cat. My kids will be thrilled. Obviously you overcame your pre-trip doldrums. Glad you had a good time in spite of the newbie Debbie-downers!

I have to chime in with a vote for Maho Bay. I took my 75 yr old Mom there to try snorkeling for the first time. However, she isn't a much of a swimmer and really panicked when she couldn't touch the bottom. Our solution was to take her over to the rocks on the right side, give her a snorkle mask an...

Thanks Nancy B. Looking forward to a good time. Definitely doing something adventuresome for us. I have never gone to a function where I know absolutely no one. Well, I guess we all know each other in spirit on this forum.

Sorry I have been non-responsive. This is mostly due to being non-committal. Mr. psufan's father passed away on Thanksgiving so things in general have been rather up in the air since then. However, we decided that we need to go out and have some fun so we will be attending. We are truly anxious to m...

I thought I was losing it here at work. I hope we find the rest of the TR. Gromit, were there recipes for the gourmet jello shots? The brownies sound wonderful as well.

I am a Jodi Picoult fan. Her books are an easy read and other than a few clunkers the storylines are very compelling. No, they aren't the trashy romance types but they do grab your attention. Several of her books made our last trip to STJ.

No, Please let it not be so. Vicki can not be in a slump about going to her favorite place. We booked Sunnyledge in May just because of your glowing reports! So, think of that magical place, the beautiful view, and find the website for the StThomas radio station. I believe I read on the forum somewh...
