Inexpensive place to stay

I have seen many threads on this topic, but have never seen Harbor Place Too listed. I am staying there now, and it is really nice. It is a two bedroom condo overlooking Coral Bay. Very upscale furnishings with a wonderful screened porch. It is only $1300/week in season. The only drawbacks are no po...

Try Stillwaters, available through caribbeanvilla.com or carefreegetaways.com. Third bedroom is in a loft area, but meets all your other requirements, including fully air conditioned and pool on the same level.

Blue Tang

Look at Blue Tang through Catered To. We stayed there in June. It has two bedrooms with A/C, a pool, a fabulous view, and a good location right above the Westin. It is plain on the outside, but gorgeous inside. Catered To was great to work with, too.

Have you considered Blue Tang?

Blue Tang (through Catered To) is perfect for two couples. It has an enormous great room, and is close to Cruz Bay. The views are to die for. I can't say enough good things about Blue Tang.

Ferries don't leave on time anyway

One thing I was surprised about in June: We arrived in St. Thomas around 2:00. After a very, very, very long wait for luggage (I just can't manage to meet the carry on requirement for liquids), we got in a taxi to the Red Hook ferry. As instructed by the villa management company, we called them en r...

Best restaurants

I think the Stone Terrace has to be at the top of the list. My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary there in June. The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was romantic, and the service was outstanding. As for the view, we ate on the outdoor balcony, and it was lovely. However, in the dark, yo...
