Ditto on the above replies. I would also like to add that the snorkeling around the cays you can reach by dinghy is good too. Someone needs to help me on the names of the two off the North shore. Just be cautious of the current - it can be quite strong.

The place in Cruz Bay (by the Beach Bar) rents two sizes - We only had two people in the smaller one and were fine, but I can't comment on four people. As far as where you can go, from Cruz Bay, you can go all the way to Waterlemon Cay, but not to Coral Bay. It sure does make for a fun day!

We'll be there the last week of June too - so will have to join you in the toast on the beach! Even though our trip isn't Ken's fault, his pictures sure were great!

I wanted to post a link so that while we are on vacation we know that things can happen on STJ just as they can anywhere - not to let our guard down and just be on island time, limin' or whatever. I do however have concerns with the police force and their abilit...

We went to Grand Cayman about two years ago and stayed on the 7 mile beach stretch. I was really disappointed as I expected a long expanse of beach. There were several places where there was no beach and we had to walk on hotel/condo property to continue. We wished we were on STJ the entire time! Ho...

Me too! We will all be back in June of next year and this sounds like a really great idea. We have pictures done every two years or so and this would make them a bit more unique. I would be interested in prices and such too. Thanks for the info.

It is the local paper for STJ - here is a link. We even get it at home although it is sometimes delayed by weeks or even months! And, I would never call you dumb.....!
