I'd recommend speaking to Karen Shlesinger at Viva about Mayan Sky and Great Turtle(1-888-856-4601 or www.vivacations.com) She'll give you an honest assessment of their pros and cons. Great Turtle seems to be at a higher elevation but both villas are similarly situated in Carolina in Coral Bay. Whit...

Hi, my family and I have stayed at Dreamcatcher a number of times. In general, I think it's a great villa and a great value. It does have a washer and a dryer downstairs. You certainly can't walk to Cruz Bay but you can walk to the Westin--though the walk back uphill is a little sleep. Three bedroom...

Dreamcatcher for kids

Yes,Dreamcatcher works well for kids. The three bedrooms are all on the same level and accessible from the inside. I don't remember about how well the screens lock but I think they were ok. The pool is also large and great for kids. It's also close to the Westin which is a plus for kids--you can eve...

Carnival Beach House is right on Klein Bay Beach. Klein Bay Beach is a rocky beach with somewhat difficult access because of rocks and sea urchins--but once you get out into the bay the swimming is excellent, the snorkeling fair and the color of the turquoise water is spectacular.

I know of two villas with heated pools. One is SeaCove in Peter Bay that has a large (10x40)heated pool and the other is Waterfall in Fish Bay that also has a large (12x30) solar heated infinity edge pool. You can check them out at www.stjohnluxuryvillas.com.Viva carries them both.
