Watermelon Cay
We've been to St. John several times but we've never snorkeled at Watermelon Cay. From the various trip reports this definitely looks like a spot we want to hit on this trip. My question is, is Watermelon close enough to swim to from shore or will we need to rent a dingy ? Thanks 11 days and we're O...

I've got it bad !
We're also new to the forum and in a very short time I've become addicted. For the last couple of weeks I've been racing to the 'puter as soon as I get home to get my daily fix. Sure, I thought I could quit anytime I wanted to but the reality is I've got this St. John forum monkey on my back. The on...

Kate and I will be on Island from June 13 - 23. We're staying at Sea Stone Vila in Chocolate Hole. It's been a couple of years since we've been on St. John and I can't wait to get back. We were in St. Martin last year and Tortola the year before that. Both are nice but nothing replaces St. John. Cap...

In St.John we've seen a few small lizards but nothing that would concern you. Tortola is another story. I could handle showering with the geckos and having them run across the floor, but when we found them in our bed and they left gecko droppings behind them it was too much. True story I swear ! DO ...

Flip Flop: You've started a wonderful email string here. Just to read everyone else's feelings about St. John makes my heart warm. Kate and I have been lucky enough to be in the Islands numerous times. She loves the solitude we find in parts of Tortola but St John is where I long to be. 24 more days...

Sea Stone
Thanks for the feedback guys. We're getting really pumped up now that we're within a month of take off. Sure we'll love the house, but hate to hear there is little privacy. We've been going to Tortola and St. Martin the last few years and it is our first trip back to St. John in 3 or 4 years. I'm re...

Sea Stone villa
Pia:
Thanks for the info. We've rented Opar the last few times we've been to St. John and I see it is now off the market. The location for Sea Stone looks wonderful. Do you know if the new owners are going to continue renting the villa in the future ?

We're heading back to St John in 30 days! We're renting Sea Stone Villa this time around. Has anyone stayed there ?
