Sea Stone Villa is very nice for 1 or 2 couples. Great location on a cliff not far from Great Cruz Bay, just up past the Westin.

tortola villas

b-as-u-r: We love Tortola. My wife and I have an on-going battle over which is our favorite, Tortola or STJ. I prefer STJ, she prefers Tortola. As others have said the beaches are not nearly as nice in Tortola but, they are generally less crowded. I agree about staying away from the Cane Garden Bay ...

Lattitude

When we were down in June we took a good look at Lattitude from the outside only. Appears to be a very nice villa and we really liked the design, a bit more modern and somewhat different than the typical villa. It sits one road back from the water looking out to Ditliff point. I suspect the views wo...

What a great thread. Keeping the Star Trek theme in mind I'd have to go with "Make it So" for a home on St. John.

What a great story. My brother-in-law is the chief of police here in our little town. My wife and I have always joked that if we were to turn to a life of crime this would be the place as my brother-in-law is a great guy but not the most dedicated of crime fighters. However, it looks as if the "...

JJ: Sorry we missed everyone at the Beach Bar Sunday, Kate and I were there. We showed up but were a bit late. As you know it was packed. I didn't see anyone with Forum shirts and we just didn't connect with anyone. The music was great. Hopefully next time around we'll be able to also "put the ...

Teresa_Rae: Thanks for correcting the typo. Don't want to send anyone on a wild "mongoose" chase :) Rick: Sea Stone is in a great location and if you get the chance to stay there I'd sure give it serious consideration. However there is not any direct water access. We took the Great Cruz Ba...

Trip Report June 13 - 22

Well here's my first attempt at a trip report. Let me just start by saying the trip was perfect...... Travel: Delta from Louisville to Atlanta to STT. We booked first class which made the travel much more relaxing. On the trip down we hit some rough turbulence to the point that the guy in front of u...

Capnkirk:

Thanks for the picture. I'll use it to perfect the holodeck imaging processor so you can all immediately take a holodeck trip back to STJ.

Back to the engine room,

Scotty

Deb58: We had iguanas everywhere while at Sea Stone. On the day we left it was like they knew we were leaving and they came out in force on the patio and lounge chairs and staked their claim to their territory. Those suckers are fast when they swim in the pool. I'm pretty sure someone else on the fo...

Sea Stone Villa - Just back

We spent 10 wonderful days at Sea Stone Villa which is located between Chocolate Hole and Great Cruz Bay. The villa sits on a cliff about 100 feet above the ocean. The sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks was soooooo sweet. Trip report in detail to come this weekend, just buried at work now try...

20 hours to take off

This will be our 6th trip back to STJ and we're really looking forward to it. Thanks to the folks on this forum I realize there are some really great places that we've missed on our previous trips. Things we're going to try to do for on this trip: Salomon Vie's Dever's Bay Waterlemon We bought a lap...

Your pictures are great. We've been to St. John 5 times but have never made Salomon, we'll be sure to get there this time after seeing your pictures.

2 days and counting and we're wheels up for STJ !
