Has anyone stayed here recently? only review I could find was from 2003. Thinking of it as a possibility for Oct.2010.

Thanks for any info anyone might have

If you're into going over to the other side of the island; the eastern side of Little Lameshur Bay has a nice reef (saw an octopus there one year) and the western side of Kiddle Bay. Kiddle Bay is a cobblestone beach, a little rough to get to but worth the seclusion and good snorkeling, very nice re...

Thanks Joshie! Upon futher consideration of the situation, I realized that had the water heater incident happened while I was away, we'd probably have to replace a burnt out well pump too. BTW it just so happens that I just finished my Bowflex workout, and my workout outfit is my Woody's tank & ...

Trying to look on the bright side of not being on STJ

I know we're not the only couple who skipped their trip to STJ this year for economic reasons. Our anniversary was yesterday and it's the first time in 6 yrs we didn't get to spend it on island. I've been working really hard not to be depressed about it. Sometimes it seems, things happen for good re...

Coral Bay Webcams?

Maybe I missed something, but does anyone know what's up with the 2 webcams from Coral Bay?
They've been on the same view for a few weeks now.

Hey Mat!
Glad you enjoyed it! I always love to hear new music. Send me a cd or track via e-mail.

BTW someone out there likes to drink till it "hurts their liver" I've seen tee-shirts, even signature lines that say "the liver is evil it must be punished"

"Beer Town" at the Tap Room

Hi fellow forumites and STJ lovers, I recently discovered a band called "Session Americana" that has a song called "Beer Town". Any beer worshiper will LOVE this song, doubly so if your any sort of seafarer/sailor/pirate. I think the STJ crowd would make an anthem of it. I really...

Jorge wrote; OK, in layman terms. What are CTR's & SAR"s. I'm just curious. I did a job for a fellow last year that built a 1.5 mil home with cash. I did not know it when I started the job. He actually walked up to me at the end with a grocery sack stuffed with $100. bills. I was a little n...

I used a compilation of my photos from 5 different trips to STJ and made a 1:45 DVD slide show with my favorites tunes as a soundtrack. It's the most played DVD in my house. I play it while working out, cleaning the house, or just on snowy and or dreary rainy days.

Santana's entire "Abraxas" album.
My hubby and I always seem to listen to that one several times a trip to STJ, especially after dark.
