Comment from the other forum.... I still enjoy the other forum because I consier it to be my "home" forum and I haven't found a need to cross-post on multiple forums. I agree that this is a very nice forum. However, I want to state that some of the posters who are on this forum, pointing f...

Looking forward to your BVI report.

Wooohoooo! Another day in Paradise. I don't believe there are any CA fireworks. Everything is focused on STJ's Carnival finale. You don't have to go to STJ to see them, though. I recall hearing that people went to Sapphire beach to watch. I'm thinking there might be a view from Latitude 18 and from ...

Wow! That was the best trip report I'd ever read. LOVED, loved, loved your photos. I leave in 9 days and should be doing laundry, packing, etc...but I sat here and read every word of your report and now I am really excited to be there! Good for you for going there alone. I've wondered how that might...

I've used www.TravelGuard.com.

No problems - but, then again, I had no problems for them.

Car ferry is caught in Red Hook. You'll back onto ferry - be prepared to reverse into a potentially tight spot. Some people seem nervous about it, bu I've never encountered anyone that felt that they couldn't handle it. There are 2 Pueblos. The one that is recommended by locals is the one in Havensi...

I read this entire 3 part report today. I'm enchanted by your report, Iowaguy. You ventured beyond the ordinary and took time to execute a well-planned caper. Your group seemed to be the picture of well deserved happiness. When you lost your shoes and didn't realize it, I knew you'd done well. I bet...

Nice stories - nice thread idea. Long story short - 1968 - I was an orphan living in an orphan's home in Florida (no, I am serious)....at the tender age of 3 months. My soon-to-be adoptive parents had moved to STT as newlyweds to live their dream on the island. They couldn't have children - decided ...

That's new. I went down at the end of last motn. I checked in online - both going down and coming back. There was no passport info required. Hmmmmm....do they have you flagged? If you see "SS" on the bottom of your boarding pass, you're going to get the full body search - fyi. It has happe...

No...luckily for me, they put all of the islands and exotic places in the overseas terminal and my business travel is domestic. Otherwise, I'd be temped to try to just walk on when they call the flight.

"oh, this isn't to Denver? My bad!"

Flipflop, I've previously rented Calicaribe. Any questions, please ask.

Also, the owner gave me the details of the upgrades. The website is outdated. At this point, ALL bedrooms have A/C, as well as a number of other upgrades.

I appreciate knowing about the Service Charge. People are always asking about the rental firms. It is good to know that we should mention this and they can verify it on their contract. I like the welcome basket. VIVA did a nice one with wine, water, grapes, cheese and crackers...and fresh flowers. T...
