I agree 100%! So when I booked our air yesterday with Delta, I ask. Lady told me it's because school is out and it's peak for family travel. So if it makes you feel better, we paid over 950 from TN. Just book it!

We are do ours the week of 7/18 on Rockhoppin Charters with Capt. Steve. I imagine all the charter boats are really good in St John. But once you go with somebody you really like, it's hard to try anything else. You might email them and see if they can put something together.

Hands down, Grande Bay via VRBO. The condo called Beautiful Morning is outstanding. We have stayed in it twice. Owner very nice and helpful. We haved stayed at Grande Bay the last 4 times we visited St. John. Never heard a sound from the Beach Bar. We did stay in the upper units and one time we had a rooster behind us that served as a daybreak alarm clock! You will be very pleased with Grande Bay.
