Re: kayaking on st john

We rented double kayaks at Cinnamon, then took them over to Mary's Point, snorkeled for awhile, and came back via Francis and Maho. Took us about 3 hours.

Re: Suggestions for Something Different?

It doesnt take much to entertain me.
Maybe rent kayaks or SUPs. Snorkel a beach you haven't been to. Hike Ram Head. Visit part of the island you haven't been too. None of that is probably of much help or origonal but maybe it'll spark something.

Re: November Airfare

I'm of no help for your specific trip, but I'll tell you my experience. Charlotte to STT stayed at $620 for around a year and never budged. I read all the articles on when to buy tickets, but it seems ticket prices aren't normal. Some markets do see low prices - Boston, for example. I'll cross my fi...

Re: I might just swim to STJ

NCSue.. I feel your pain..
All these other threads about cheap flights from Boston, and we are stuck with CLT rates.
I finally stopped waiting for the decrease.. I think we are paying $620 but our trip is in June. My in-laws flying from Michigan thru Charlotte are paying less than me.

Re: GoPro Users - Questions

I've got a Hero3 that I used for snorkeling. Video is fun, but it also took really good still pictures too. A few accessories I would suggest: Float attachment & wrist strap. I got the one one that's a big orange foam thing that attaches to the back door of the case. Red filter. If you are goin...

Re: GoPro Users - Questions

I'm going to get one prior to my trip.

I film quite a bit with a GoPro hero 2 (mostly backpacking trips). The underwater footage with that model was terrible. The newer models look like they have improved that.
