I have never written a review before for anything but feel a responsibility to the three young partners of this incredible restaurant. My wife and I ate there last night and had a fantastic meal. Their small plate/ large plate format is unique however,coupled with the outstanding presentation, superb taste, and very good value makes this a winner. We started with the two small plates of sea scallops and crabcake croquets with other choices to be determined later. We found that after our Habiscus Cosmo and Lemon Martini that we were ready for the famous waffle brownie dessert that did not disappoint. We savored an excellent French Pinot Noir and an outstanding private reserve bourbon with the dessert (we're on vacation remember)while entertained by the background stories on how these three unique talents brought such an hidden gem of a restaurant to St. John. In a town of disappointing expectations, this restaurant despite their overlooked location deserves to prosper by everyone looking for a worthwhile dining experience.
