The restaurant is blessed with a terrific location right on Cruz Bay with wonderful views out to the water and the boats. The interior has a pleasantly upscale design with some unique touches—I especially love the giant tree that grows up through the middle of the restaurant.

Classic mojito was well done—nicely muddled, with lots of lime, a very refreshing drink for a hot day. Mahi tacos were delicious—well seasoned grilled mahi with a spicy fruit salsa in three small soft flour tacos. Portion sizes were perfect for lunch, and the setting cannot be beat.

I will comment that we had problems with the service here. Our waitperson was distracted and gone for long periods at a stretch. It took our waiter 35 minutes to bring us our drinks (yes, I timed it…how could you not when it took that long?? I get the concept of island time but that’s ridiculous!). In fact, we ended up getting our food delivered before the drinks, which is one of my all time pet peeves. I’m sure this is not a regular problem, but it did cut into the enjoyment of our meal.
