We had dinner here twice. Both times were excellent. The service is always so courteous and attentive, and the quality of the food served is outstanding.

Meal one: started with the bruschetta of the day (salami, artichoke hearts, provolone), decadently cheesy and rich. We also tried the spinach salad with roasted beets, romano cheese, pancetta and truffle oil. This was a great flavor combination!

Mains were roasted colossal shrimp on a truffled corn risotto with fried sweet potato shavings—this was delicious. The shrimp were HUGE, one would have been enough for my dinner. John had the veal porterhouse with white beans and balsamic reduction. The veal was very tender and the beans were packed with flavor. Dessert was a light tiramisu, just the thing to end the dinner.

For our second meal, we started with a house made tortelloni in a tomato-olive oil-herb sauce. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was intense with the herbal flavors. It was delicious.

For entrees, I had the pistachio-crusted mahi on a bed of greens with goat cheese and polenta croutons. I get this almost every time and it is fantastic. John had the Caribbean lobster tail with barley, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Dessert was a bread pudding which was fine but not as enjoyable as the tiramisu we had earlier in the week.

Zozos gets my vote as one of the most enjoyable upscale restaurants in Cruz Bay. I suggest you try it.
