My husband and I ate at Da Livio twice in the last two weeks (once with my 29 year old daughter; once with another couple). It is a great new addition to the high end St John dining choices. Absolutely authentic italian in a sophisticated atmosphere that reminds you of tuscany. (Inside that is; outside- no views at all, you face Lime Inn). Eggplant three ways was a wonderful -- huge -- appetizer. Great homemade pasta (we had lobster ravioli and a spinach ravioli with a totally authentic bolognese sauce. It changes daily depending on what comes in fresh. Great italian wines; the house red is a Multipuciano and fairly priced. Food prices are high; similar to Asolare, etc. But portions are HUGE. Try sharing. The owner (Livio) is charming and until it gets discovered, no prob getting a table. If you can, save room for the homemade Tiramisu...fabulous. Mangia!
