We went to Baked by the Sun in the Marketplace on our last day for lunch because I had heard good things and we were very happy with the quality of the food. My husband ordered a No. 12, a pesto turkey sandwich that was served warm on toasted bread and I made my own, a simple turkey and cheddar with lettuce and tomato. The bread was fresh and tasty and the quality of the turkey was very good. The lettuce and tomato on my sandwich was fresh. I usually don’t like anything but yellow mustard but their spicy mustard was full of flavor. For dessert, my husband got a gingersnap and I got a macaroon and we both loved them. Both were moist and full of flavor. We got two sandwiches and two cookies for $18.00. It was worth the little bit longer drive to go to Baked in the Sun!
