Got there in time for sunset, and were seated out on the deck section, where there’s no railing, only netting. I’m sure that makes the view better, but my chair was about six inches away from about a twenty-foot drop. Anyway, let’s talk about the food. Both of our traveling companions got burgers, which they said were good. My wife got nachos, also good. I got fish and chips, which I’d hoped would be good since it was mahi. Nuh-uh. Very ordinary. But it’s fish and chips, not a gourmet meal, so it was okay. These were not challenging meals, but maybe the lead chef was off on Sunday night.

The view of the sunset was great, and the lights on St. Thomas became a recurring theme for several meals during our trip. Pastory advertises that they give free rum punches at sunset, but none was forthcoming. Finally, I asked our waiter if they still offered the drink, and he said, “Okay, sure. I’ll get it.” He had talked with us since there weren’t many diners that night, and he’d only been there a couple of weeks. So maybe he just forgot.

The bill for the four of us, with 1 appetizer and 1 drink, was $62.50. Budget friendly. We played miniature golf after, and had a lot of fun. A good place to go for the atmosphere and recreation, but the food wasn't much to speak of.
