We ate at Asolare twice - the second time on Christmas night. Both times we got lucky and were seated on the deck, which has a beautiful view of Cruz Bay. But, the food is the star at this restaurant. Curried shrimp and scallops sound so basic, but not in the hands of the chef at Asolare. The spices were nicely balanced, the seafood and rice perfectly cooked. The tofu appetizer was wonderful and I'm not a tofu fan. We also enjoyed the appetizer platter with salmon gravlox, eel, a spring roll, and more. We got this platter both nights. Finally, the service. It was efficient and warm and friendly - Gina and Jody - thank you!
