Bombay Club 03/26/02
Reviewers Rating: Great
Despite the name, the Bombay Club does not serve East Indian food (it's named after the gin!), but it does have a great menu at fair prices. In well over 20 visits I've only had one mediocre meal there, the others have been super. This is a great restaurant for families with varied tastes, as the menu runs from sandwiches to filet mignon, with innovative daily specials. The fish and chips at $8.95 is huge and always fresh "catch of the day" in a terrific batter, the Bombay filet at $18.95 is two filet mignons in two sauces, a huge side of terrific mashed potatoes and a house salad without a trace of iceberg lettuce! This restaurant is a favorite with locals and tourists and it's easy to see why.
