Seems all across the nation there has been wierd extreme weather this holiday season. Last evening the winds kicked up here in CO and got up to 110 m.p.h.---hurricane force winds. Yea we didn't have to worry about "swells", but projectile lawn furniture, shingles, window screens, made it seem very real. Trucks toppled over on the freeway, etc. None of our holiday family or guests slept a wink. We sat up most of the night watching T.V.

We're very ready to have a tropical vaca....very soon!

Does anyone else pack up the holiday decor and wait for their trip to a tropical destination just to have something warm to look forward to?

Terry, I couldn't agree more. Here in Northeast Massachusetts, we had the ice storm then 2 snow dumpings in a row and then 60 degrees-within a week or so of each other. I can't wait to scream Happy New Year tomorrow night as it brings me yet another day closer to our January 10th trip!

I feel your pain. I am in the same area of you and just sitting here watching another storm blow through. To think I have to wait until May to get back on island.
