Has anyone been to the new Courtesy Car Rental location as mentioned on on-St.John which describes it, but I can't put a finger on where it is? I am trying to figure out where it is and whether or not there is still the ease of being able to park in their lot and walk around town.

Here's the scoop on the move. http://www.on-stjohn.com/

If you were walking, you would head down the one way street heading towards Starfish (you know, at the sight of the old Texaco) and take the first right which is the street that would take you to the St John Inn :)

That's good info as I have been happy with Courtesy in the past. What's the parking situation in the new location? Better or worse?

Is the new Courtesy car rental located within walking distance of the ferry? Does someone meet you at the ferry from Courtesy?

Thanks Diana, I learned about their move from on-stjohn but was just trying to get a better idea of exactly how far from town it is and was hoping a post here might give me a bit more info that what it said on the blog.

Is it walking distance for a senior citizen that is in relatively decent shape but not used to hills?

Has anyone on here parked there since they have moved?

Thanks!

I think they will pick you up at the ferry dock (I read that somewhere I think) but if your senior citizens could walk to the old Texaco station they will be fine as it is about 30 seconds past that.

Pia - is it on the same road that goes past Inn at Tamarind Court or the one that goes past the Fire Station?

You stay on the road to the Tamarind - do not go down the fire station road - you turn 1st right (almost opposite the Schnell Studio) if you hit Tamarind you have gone too far :)

Awesome Pia - thanks for the description!

We'll stick with Courtesy cuz we love Greg and that's not so much further from town.
