Brenda's Trip Report Day 6

Woke up still feeling so-so, but better. I forgot to mention the obnoxious renoveting at GP. 15A and 11A are being completely gutted and redone. 11A is directly below us and the tile cutting saw was going non-stop. Very loud and annoying so we didn't hang around long. Gary's snorkel mask broke so we went into town for a new one. We had some lunch at The Beach Bar and met Boo.
We then got ready to head over to STT to meet Mr and Mrs Captain jay for dinner at Hook Line and Sinker.
On the way to the ferry. Gary really like this little vehicle.

We took the 3:45 ferry to Charlotte Amalie. Deb told us to turn left and go 2 blocks to Frenchtown. If you read her blog then you may know that she thought the BVI terminal 2 blocks away is where we would arrive. We were actually at the end of the waterfront. When we really didn't see what we thought we were looking for, we asked someone and they too said two blocks. I think it actaully worked out better because it was a nice walk and we got to see the waterfront. And then the rain came, luckily it wasn't torrential. We could see it in the distance. We would wait it out a bit under whatever roof we could find.

We finally met up with Jay and Deb. It was great to see them and catch up on things. We thought the food here was fantastic and I think it was our best meal of the trip. I had the Caribbean lobster (I try to have it once during my trip), the guys had Wahoo and I think Deb had a tuna dish. We finished that off with some Key Lime Pie shared. I will look forward to returning. Maybe we can meet you again there since it is so convenient for you guys after work.

After dinner, they drove us back to Red Hook to catch the 9pm ferry. Thanks for that guys
