USVI-On-Line

Will be staying on STT at The Reef Jan 20-25 after 5 days in the Domincan Republic. This will be our 3rd trip to STT and our kids 1st. I'm ashamed to say in our 2 previous trips we never made it over to STJ, but I'm bound and determined we will this time! I want to make this a trip to remember for the kids so besides doing a BVI day trip on Horizons II again, I want to go to STJ at least one day, possibly two. I'm renting a vehicle that we can take over on the car barge. My question is, if we only manage to get over for one day, what kind of itinerary would be a good plan to see the best not to miss beaches (Trunk of course)and the not to miss sights, get a bite to eat, etc.? Also is there shopping/restaurants near the car barge dock while we wait to board? Thanks!

If I was you and thinking of 2 day's I'd do them back to back that way the first day come by car barge cruise the north shore beaches stop at afew and chill go to skinny's for lunch. back to a beach till the noseeums chase you off back to Cruz bay woody's for happy hour shop have a nice dinner. Park the car at slim mans take the people ferry back when you are thru for the night. Come back the next morning pick up the car head to salt pond or lamsher or do the rams head hike go to miss lucy's for lunch maybe hit a beach in the afternoon hope the car ferry back.
