Just got a phone call from "BillinVa" they are camped out at Maho today. First words were "we're screwed". Evidently HGTV is on island filming a show on luxury villas. They watched them do several shots of a couple walking up and down the beach at Maho.

Bill's crying in his painkillers.........too much publicity.......... :(

Oh gross. I love St. John, but I try not to tell people about it. I don't want to share!

It's probably for that show "What's Your House Worth?" I saw that they were soliciting villa owners to submit their houses for it a while back.

I actually kind of like that show, in a voyeuristic way. One of my coworkers houses is going to be featured on it in June.

We saw Bill yesterday he was snorkling at Francis in the afternoon. It was an absolutely beautiful day we spent the day at Francis and the family had a wonderful time especially my grandsons who are experiencing the beach for the first time.Today it is mostly overcast with frequent showers and the little ones (two 2yr olds) are getting cabin fever. Today is a shopping day for the ladies, will go to Coral Bay in an hour and probably have lunch at Shipwreck. Later!

Hey Mark, I hope the trip is going well! If you are headed over to Coral Bay take the little guys by the ball field. There are usually goats or sheep grazing there and its a big open space to run around. Dana at Carolina Corral does donkey rides for the youngsters - 340-693-5778. Another great thing on a rainy day is the walk to Haulover North - there are a ton of hermit crabs all through the leaf litter.

I somehow think the classic HGTV demographic are not going to swamp us on STJ - median age 46, median income $69K. Cruise ship bovines, Moo!

Cheers, RickG

Rick: this has been a fantastic trip, Marie and I spent 5 days alone before our daughters and their boy friends arrived with the two loves of our lives Ethan and David. Watching those two little guy's experiencing so many things for the first time has brought many a tear to our eyes. I think all of the goats in Coral Bay were in the ballfield and decided to cross the road just as we arrived, they were both so excited watching them cross in front of us. The Christmas parade and concert was wonderful. Francis is still our favorate beach and perfect for the boys and no bugs like when we met there in April of 07,remember that. Well gotta go the boys are calling for me to get in the hot tub. later!
