Anybody out there have any St. Martin experience:
"By the way, do you know of any good restaurants near the airport in St. Maartin? We didn't think Mary's Boon was as good as most of the reviews."
From an emailer -
Thanks,

I personally have never been to SXM, but the Sunset Beach Bar is famous for it's location right next to the beach and the end of SXM's runway:

We went to St Martin 3 years in a row and always dined in Marigot and Grand Case. Excellent restaurants. The owner of an Italian resturant in Grand Case took us to a sports bar by the airport - the only place we could see the Redskins play.

Anthony - how much time do these folks have? Do they want a restaurant with an "experience" or just food? Lal's is an Indian restaurant right near the airport that is really good, but the ambiance is lacking (that's putting it mildly). There are a ton of restaurants in Simpson Bay and in Maho. Sunset Beach Bar was mostly destroyed in the recent hurricane, and I think they're rebuilding (it's called something else now anyway).

I think they just want a meal near the airport while changing flights on the way home from St. Barts - they don't want to travel away from the airport.
Thanks for all the tips and suggestions, I have passed them on!
