We tried a Dark & Stormy while cooking last night! Couldn't find Ginger Beer so we used ginger ale and Cruzan Black Strap - not too bad!!

I was wondering what sort of libation to try today. Should I bring my bottle of Cruzan Guava rum or the Door Co. Cherry wine over to the MIL's?

Woo Hoo! I woke up in the Thanksgiving spirit this morning, because it is OVER for me! My dysfunctional family had dinner last night due to the usual many circumstances that a dysfunct family has. I am thankful that we were able to get together, and now I am thankful that it is over.
I will spend the day eating leftovers, watching the parade & football. I have the day all to myself!
Thanksgiving spirit...you bet

Yo....thankfully we are doing our normal thanksgiving tradition this year. Last year my Sweetie was fighting cancer so the trip didn't happen. Today the sounds you hear around our home are cooking and packing. That would be packing for our trip to STJ on Saturday morning..hold on a sec...... Sandie just asked me to make sure I brought up the trip folder."I will" he said smilingly. Is that a word? Anyway back to you. We will do the Hyatt at Dulles tomorrow night. Priceline.com deal. $62.74 including the fees. The bid was $50. We scored a couple of Red Carpet passes on ebay for a song so will wait for the launch window in there.... I am beyond greatful this Thanksgiving. I give thanks to so many of you for caring and praying for Sandie and me. As I say grace this afternoon I will mention my Forum family...from our home to yours please feel the warmth and thanks we send...God bless...Bill and Sandie King

My sister brined the turkey with Cruz Bay Grill Rub.
It was a great dinner with family and friends.
