Ok, my husband is a bacon fan, but even this was a bit much for him... check out this blog post on the elusive bacon wrapped Turkey:

That is frightening. Makes we want to go eat some raw, organic veggies.

Yeah, as my hubby said, "I can feel a tightening in my chest just looking at the pictures!"

Is your husband named Homer?
Probably smelled awesome while cooking...

Oh ,those aren't MY pics.

I actually do something similar -- though not with as MUCH bacon.

The secret is to smear butter on the breast, salt and pepper and then cover the breast competely with bacon. Cover bird with foil. Half way thru cooking remove the foil, leave bacon. Then about 45 mins from the end I remove the bacon and let the breast brown.

YUMMY!!

That's kind of extreme! I did a bacon wrapped boneless turkey breast two weeks ago.

The bacon did add a nice smoky flavor to the meat. After a taste, I peeled the bacon off before serving/eating it though. The turkey had lots of flavor without actually eating the bacon. This version was stuffed with apples, onions, pears, and sage.

The overly wrapped turkey (not the yummy pictures that liamsaunt posted) remind me of this for some reason...

I could never eat that.

Your turkey breast looks DELISH! I have to try to make one...any recipe/advice you would like to share with the unsophisticated chef?
