Hello
I was part of Lulu's group but since I stayed behind to spend time with Ivan here is my 3 days.

Sunday Nov 9......
After Lulu and the ladies left......I tended bar for Ivan. No one seemed to want to make their own.
I think I am now really good at making banana whackers.....lol

I stayed in the Little Beach House on the campground.
Since Ivan and family had just got back after being gone for 3 months there was alot to do.
I met these really cool people who had just sailed an 87 ft with a crew of 6 down from the MD. for the boat show.
I spent Monday with them hanging at Seddy's and Soggy Dollar and Jewels and just chillin. Do not think I could ever drink that much again.......lol

Met some more really cool people Melody and Tony who have Utopiasailing in the BVI's.
They took me out on their 40ft sail catamaran.
It was so beautiful.
For those of you that want to sail the BVI's
check them out
info@utopiasailing.com.
They have room for 6 I think........

Spent most of my daytime up and down white bay and my nighttime in great harbor.

I left White Bay on Wed Nov 12 and met up with lulu and the ladies at Lime Inn.

This trip was to help me start healing.
I just lost my sister to mastasized lung cancer, it had spread to her bones and she did not make it quite 3 months.
I needed this trip. I needed to be with Ivan.
I always tell people that my friends on St. John and in Jost are like family and they have been there when I lost Bully, my mom and my friend Mary and now my sister all in the last 3 yrs.
I used to say Ivan was a gift from God but I think also it is the power of St. John and the water and Jost that bring healing.
I am blessed this I know

Thanks for the report. Sorry about your sister.
The Virgin Islands are good for healing and it is where I'd go too.

Rosi - I am so glad you made it down and had a good time. You needed it.

And is it just me or does a "banana whacker" sound dirty? Or painful? I'm not sure which.

Oh you guys are bad! I don't think I'll ever be able to order either one again without blushing!

Rosi, I know how much you needed this trip - and you sound as though you have made tremendous headway in your healing process. Good for you!

I am so sorry about your sister. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and beautiful memories of a loved one sounds like a great journey to recovery.

Thank you all, I am not sure I have given myself any time to be sad.......it is really hard to be sad when you are in paradise.

Rosi- I'm so glad you made it down for your island time. May that peace stay with you.

Also, thank you for letting me know the Bush Whacker has a counterpart. I always felt that was unfair. ;)
