2,000 by the end of the year?

Hi all -
We are over 1,800 registered users now here on the forum. I would love to see this to 2,000 by the end of the year. That would mean nearly 200 new people in little over a month. Since our natural pace is a bit below that, I am wondering if I could kindly ask for your help - if you have been meaning to tell a friend about the forum, or if you keep a blog or a home page somewhere on the web, whether with your ISP, MySpace, Facebook, Blogger, etc. can you please send an email or make a post or mention about the forum somewhere this week? With your help, I think we can get there -

You are right I've been lurking for too long...
Ex Islander here.. Lived on St. John from 96-99, around the same time as Xislandgirl...we actually worked together for some time... Now I live up in New Hampshire... Wife and I got married on Trunk Bay back in May...Let's see if I can get her to stop lurking as well.

It's 29 degrees here in Philadelphia and high will only be 39. Too cold for November.

After nearly two years of lurking and three trips to St. John, I have finally been lured out of my lurker status. Last trip for 12 days this summer I constantly referred to things I learned here. Thanks for all your help and hopefully I can contribute in the future.

So I also decided to come out as a lurker. I have an addiction to STJ it started a few years ago on my first visit. I really enjoy reading how much everyone else loves STJ, you get the island or you don't. I look forward to getting to know you all and help other travelers.
