When parking out at the gates at Gibney Beach, which side of the drive in front of the gates do they like you to park on? I thought I read a post before about this and wanted to make sure...thanks

Gibber, we always park on the left if you are facing the gate. We always try to park snugly so that 2 more cars can fit behind us. There is also a tiny bit of room across the street and a few feet east along side of the road for 1 or two cars. To be honest, if there are 3 cars at the gate and one across the street, that constitutes a crowd at Gibney, IMO. If that's the case we usually will try someplace else. Gibney's magic is moreso when it is fairly deserted.

Careful where you park - once we were there and it seems that someone let the air out of one of our Jeep's tires, we thought we had parked 'thoughtfully'

It was difficult for our guys to change the tire, as the Jeep was not parked very level - bad tourist!

However - Gibney is still one of our most favorite beaches . . .

Park on the left only (when facing the gate) :)

Just so everyone is clear...park in front of the Tall Black Iron Gate on the Left side of the drive. Do not block the opening of the gate. Sometimes this gate is open, but don't drive down and park unless you are a part of the "party" that is at the Oppenheimer house. Do NOT park anywhere along the Short White Fence or in the drive that leads down to Teri Gibney's house.
